Tempo de Restauração
Lucely Uchoa
Restoration Time
Israel lived a great nightmare
Was in despair, without peace
Slaves of defeat, humiliated
Hearts torn apart, sad situation
That people were chosen, by God they were not forgotten
And God, who from heaven sees everything, decided to put an end once and for all to that torment
And raised up Nehemiah and placed in his heart a desire for restoration
Then Nehemiah presents himself before the king who asks him:
Why so much sadness in your heart?
Why this downcast look, Nehemiah?
And Nehemiah answers:
Oh, my Lord, the walls of Jerusalem have been broken
Their walls have been torn down, their gates burned with fire
The remaining people there have no spirit to rebuild the walls again
This flame is burning in my heart:
To return, to go down there and restore the city walls
That were torn down and bring back the people's joy!
And the king then said: Go, Nehemiah, do what is in your heart!
And Nehemiah departed, gathered all the people and began a great construction:
The walls of Jerusalem.
And they rebuilt that city with great glory
Much glory, more than the first!
Restored the fallen walls of that city
Restored lost dreams and happiness
Restored and brought back the people's smiles
Restored with power and glory and great renewal
It's time for restoration, it's time to rebuild
It's time to stand up, start over and act
It's time for restoration, it's time to seek God
It's time to prophesy and take possession of what is yours
It's time to rebuild the dreams you lost
It's time to rebuild the dreams you lost
It's time for restoration
