I'm leaving
to travel your back
as if I were taking a stroll.
It's the only street I don't know,
even though I've walked it.
But it assures me
the joy of knowing
that, at least,
I'm alive.
And if upon returning
there's a corner left
unexplored,
my hands will be right
to touch and caress
every light and shadow
that inhabit it.
