I opened my Bible in John 20
And I came across
Mary Magdalene
Crying by the King's tomb

But she lifts her head
Wiping her tears, she opened her eyes
Where was the Master's body
Two angels Mary saw

They asked her: Why are you crying?
Mary replied
It's because my Jesus' body was here
But His body disappeared

Then Mary walks back
I believe she was ready to leave
That's when the Master appears and asks her

Mary, why are you crying?
Mary, why are you looking for me?
Mary, do me a favor
Don't look for me among the dead
Because I am alive

Go there
And tell my brothers
To start smiling
Tell them, Mary, it's not over
Say that I have conquered death

So Mary, without wasting time, went
She ran towards the disciples
And told them: Everyone sit down here
And let me tell you how it happened

The earth shook
The tomb opened
And nothing will overcome His great love
Oh death, where is it?
Daddy resurrected
He won forever, forever

Forever exalted He is
