The Villager
The crazy illusions took me out of my town
and I left my home to see the capital
I remember the day, happy about my departure,
without paying attention to anything from my land, I moved away,
and while my mother, very sad and sobbing;
said to me: My son, take my blessing with you.
Now that I know the city of my golden dreams,
and see the ambition I forged in my desire fulfilled,
it is when the disappointment of this life saddens me;
and I long with pain for my sweet home.
I fought like a man to overcome, and I could achieve it,
reaching the desire to live in all its splendor,
and in the midst of this happiness, nostalgia torments me;
for the town I left, my heart.
I fought like a man to overcome, and I could achieve it,
reaching the desire to live in all its splendor,
and in the midst of this happiness, nostalgia torments me;
for the town I left, my heart.
"Up Villager"
"Rich then"
I fought like a man to overcome, and I could achieve it,
reaching the desire to live in all its splendor,
and in the midst of this happiness, nostalgia torments me;
for the town I left, my heart.
