The Return of the Wire Fence
When I arrived
I took off the dress and hurried to look for you
With the excitement of the surprise I was going to give you
I felt like dying when I didn't find you
How naive I was
While I struggled to give you everything
Mocking me, you did things your way
Setting aside what I once offered you
And for what
If long ago you were already in someone else's arms
And seeing that my whole adventure was a failure
I dried my tears on the dress and threw it away
And for what
I stay here all lost and shattered
Today the return of this wire fence is repeated
Because of his trust, his dove flew away
When I arrived
I took off the dress and hurried to look for you
With the excitement of the surprise I was going to give you
I felt like dying when I didn't find you
How naive I was
While I struggled to give you everything
Mocking me, you did things your way
Setting aside what I once offered you
And for what
If long ago you were already in someone else's arms
And seeing that my whole adventure was a failure
I dried my tears on the dress and threw it away
And for what
I stay here all lost and shattered
Today the return of this wire fence is repeated
Because of his trust, his dove flew away
And for what
If long ago you were already in someone else's arms
And seeing that my whole adventure was a failure
I dried my tears on the dress and threw it away
And for what
I stay here all lost and shattered
Today the return of this wire fence is repeated
Because of his trust, his dove flew away
