With the happiest sound of my town I come to sing
this 'Glory to Christ' that in the sound of bulls I like the most,
I want to sing to Jesus who is the leader of truth,
with the overflowing and explosive joy of the fireworks
that light up our skies in the popular festival.

Glory to God in Siuna, Jalapa, and Cosigüina,
in Solentiname, Diriomo, and Ticuantepe,
glory to God in Tisma, Guaslala, and Alagüida,
in Totogalpa, Moyogalpa, and Santa Cruz.

Glory to the one who follows the light of the gospel,
to the one who fearlessly denounces injustice,
glory to the one who suffers prison and exile
and gives their life fighting the oppressor.

Today we glorify you, Lord, with marimbas,
with ñambar violins, rattles, and drums,
with chirimillas, quijongos, and sambubias,
with the native dances of Subtiava and Monimbó.
