Amor En La Cordillera
Luis Rosales
Love In The Mountains
How happy it makes me to walk
With a girl by my side
Through those streams of my mountains
That sing their way down to a lake
How lovely it is to hear you say you love me
With the sweet and soft song of the waters
With the rugged frame of that waterfall
That in gentle drizzle kissed your face
How much harm I would do if I didn't sing
What many feel without expressing anything
God made me a poet and that's my joy
That a river of the soul's waterer is born in me
My soon return will be to sing to you
The song that is yours and of my feelings
Hands of a dove, laughter of clear water
Together we will be there at the waterfall
What a simple way to express you in verses
When you demand me to sing
And when your tender caress envelops me
My song takes you to the Futalaufquen
