La Diosa Y El Pecador

The Goddess and the Sinner
A goddess from the sky came down one day
To see how a sinner lives
I saw her coming down slowly on a star
And her luminous gaze watched me
I took her hand and we traveled the world
And upon seeing the sea, she confused it with the sky
I cut a rose and placed it in her hair
And we sang a song for two
That said: How beautiful is the world
How beautiful is love
How beautiful are the roses
How great is the Lord
Look at the mornings, the sunsets, and the glow
What beautiful landscapes of beautiful colors around you
And the springs that on clear nights serve as little mirrors
To the little stars that curiously look at their own glow
She had escaped from the kingdom of purity
She didn't yet know what love was
Excited, I took her in my arms
And planted a passionate kiss on her lips
My lovely goddess and I loved each other that day
And from the sky, a rainbow came down
It brought a message from the creator that said
If you are happy, receive my blessing
And it said: How beautiful is the world
How beautiful is love
How beautiful are the roses
How great is the Lord
Look at the mornings, the sunsets, and the glow
What beautiful landscapes of beautiful colors around you
And the springs that on clear nights serve as little mirrors
To the little stars that curiously look at their own glow
