444 (de Lejos)
Luz Casal
444 (From Afar)
You must look now, the world from afar
Far away, vibrant with light
From a cold point
Or maybe you see now
The world as a gray and gloomy point
From a blue paradise.
I would like to believe
That today the universe is for you
A tiny garden
And that you see it
With your eyes clean of infinite reach.
I want to imagine that now you look at us
Being part of many other lives
Because I don't assume zero
It's hard to swallow the smoke of nothing
And I prefer
To consider you somewhere
In a place without end or borders
Where there are no uniforms or flags
A place without judges, priests, or notaries
Because there all that is not necessary
