Of scams and muggings
The poor steal, the rich do too
And even the uptight priest

Clean scams that deceive
The eyes while you pray
If the cops catch you
You better start praying

My city is a jungle
Of iron and concrete
Where there are more bars
Than schools, that's for sure

Polluted air
Wherever you go
There's collective neurosis
Everywhere you look

My city is a dump
And dog shit
Where you can get killed
By a cop or a thief

The flashing ads
Make you wanna puke
Everything you once
Could swallow

My city is the temple
Of lies
That the president
Tells you every day

Prostitutes and junkies
On every corner
Turn the streets
Into a filthy mess
