Faluas Do Tejo
Madredeus
Boats of the Tagus
Boats,
Vague memory
That I from childhood
Kept for myself
If I still see them
Sometimes on the Tagus
I relive the joy
Of the time when I saw them passing by the river
Boats of the Tagus
That I watched playing
And now I don't see
Passing by the river
Vagrant boats
That were there
In lost afternoons
That I never forgot
And there was so much beauty
That those sails in the sun would create
Beautiful picture of childhood
That has not yet faded
And I am sure
That the Boats of the Tagus will return
Once again to Lisbon
