The Dancer
Watching the clouds go by
In Santiago I found myself
I met the chacarera
I fell in love with the dance
I tap and shake
I look at you and you look at me
A little turn and a full circle
Don't get dizzy
Early in the morning I get up
And start tapping
My feet move on their own
I can't calm them down
It's because from the earth
A force comes like a magnet
I just lift my legs
They come back down
The second part begins
I step back to my place
All the parts are good
When I can dance them
Right here you would see them
Doña iguana and the kakuy
In Santiago del Estero
Everyone dances like you
And dancing I wake up
And dancing I will sleep
If you look for me, you won't find me
In my dreams I will dance
