Final Point
What you and I have,
has me confused.
It's like that someone who reads
a meaningless sentence.
Doesn't know when it ends
if there's no fixed point in the end.
Love that doesn't stop it
not even a comma or a prefix.
// And I don't know if you put a final point,
to what we tried to build together,
or a comma to buy time,
if you're capable of believing in that man.//
And I noticed it in your gaze,
and it was mine that in good and bad times,
by my side you were,
without realizing that you were falling in love.
With that man who told you,
about his affairs and even misdeeds,
to whom you confessed
how you surrendered in bed.
Destiny betrayed me and I understood,
how in love I was with you,
but there was much to lose in between,
I belonged to her and you still belonged to him.
But one drunken night without thinking,
you gave yourself to me and let me love you,
the next day you left without a word,
just left a note unsigned.
It said thanks for what happened,
three dots and at the end of the paper a goodbye,
I don't know if something new began,
or simply that everything ended here.
