Dama Negra
Mägo de Oz
Black Lady
I know the day will come when there is no wound
Caused by the hatred of those who are not the same
And I know it hurts to endure the loneliness that stings so much
For not dressing like them and for thinking for yourself
You light up like a flower when your song plays
You shout silently to the wind that your heart is free
Without borders, without nation, without creeds or religion
May they never enslave man in the name of a God
Sometimes you are a storm and after the storm, you are peace
But it's so hard for you to know how to use them
And you believe that honesty is the shoes you walk in
And your dreams as a compass, and loyalty in your backpack
You seek in education a weapon to be better
Not to be tamed or trained with a no
And in textbooks, you look for a reason
To write a verse or paint a heart
If you tremble like a child at a kiss or a wink
And you think their lips are the retreat from pain
If you forget an offense and don't consider
Those who speak with bile and corrupt the truth
If you need to breathe, besides air, freedom
And heavy metal is your flag, you will always have us here
And even if it takes an eternity to be respected for thinking
Keep going and fight, you are not alone, we are many
