El Rincón de Los Sentidos
Mägo de Oz
The Corner of the Senses
Some time ago I shipwrecked
Between the beach of your youth
Adrift, a love sank for me
And my life ran aground
It's been a while since I got drunk
All the verses I once sang
With the breath that a woman gives
Who will not return
I took inventory of what I lost
I accounted for what I invested
Years of struggle, sleepless nights
And now I'm a musician and I have you
I want to sing, I want to shout
I want to live in freedom
I want to die close to you
I want to find what I lost
In the corners of some song
Illusion sometimes sells its soul
But I will never sell mine
I will die a rocker
I shelter defeats and give them warmth
With a rhyme I sewed to my voice
I dress up nostalgias and give them color
With staves I painted
I want to sing, I want to shout
I want to live in freedom
I want to die close to you
I want to find what I lost
I want to sing, I want to shout
So you understand that I was
Just a minstrel who hid
Among songs and a voice
