Lone Tree
It's a lone tree, in a place forgotten by man, and maybe by God too.
Its twisted body doesn't raise its arms where once birds rested, trying to regain their strength in it.
That's why it now waits for the feared lightning of its youth, so that the light of fire can make a nest in it, taking it to the God that forgot it,
Taking it to the God that forgot it.
And the tree that lives there sees how its blood
Ages, while on its branches only the fruit of loneliness grows.
And its embrace is so weak, that no mother nests there anymore. Its leaves aren't as thick as they were when it offered shade to the traveler.
That's why it now waits for the feared lightning of its youth, so that the light of fire can make a nest in it, taking it to the God that forgot it,
Taking it to the God that forgot it.
