An elder of days has ascended the platform
With his judge's robe and a book in hand
It's a book of judgments, but it's sealed
And someone worthy is sought to unleash it

All humans were investigated on earth
There was no man capable of taking it
And in heaven among the holy hosts
There was also no competent one

The beloved disciple weeps inconsolably
Because his great desire has been frustrated
There's no one to take the book, no one to open its seals
And there will be no justice for his beloved people

But suddenly arises a sacrificed lamb
And with confident steps approaches the elder
From his right hand he takes the sealed book
And firmly breaks its seal to unleash it

Glory to the sacrificed lamb
To him the glory for he has taken the book
He deserves the glory, the power, and the honor
Riches and praises for all ages, amen

Glory to that holy lamb
To him the glory for he has saved us

The 24 elders prostrated themselves on the ground
At the feet of the sacrificed lamb
And the living beings also reverenced
That holy lamb who had triumphed

And the voices of angels and humans united
And paid tribute to the holy lamb
And every living being in the vast universe
Gives glory and honor to the holy lamb
