Santito

It tells the story of a child raised in a home
of low resources where Dad was also absent
for his mother, it wasn't easy to raise her eight children
for that reason, her hope clung to her crucifix and Santito!!!!
slowly he grew up, daily he saw the drug business
raised in a neighborhood where trafficking was abundant
he went out to ride his bike and in seconds he was there
but, what fault did that innocent child have
of going out and meeting that kind of people
He saw one of his brothers, at home he broke a rule of not going to a big church but to a small one
it's that Santito feels a touch in his heart for the first time and then accepts the Lord
but not three years pass and he strays from God's path
the enemy with his cunning subtly deceives him
like every young person, he had goals in his heart
his buddy tells him, do you want progress? Go to New York, it wasn't easy and by fate
the enemy presents Santito with another path
the easy path that many people have chosen
the one that seemed right and in the end was one of death
and Santito, put the noose around his neck
by getting into the world of drugs out of necessity

Santito is the life that is born from death
everything is possible when God is present
the Almighty has the last word (x2)

Without knowing, he was heading for failure
he was a puppet of the devil, he was a clown
he didn't listen to the good things they told him
he didn't want to take advice, he thought he knew everything
he thought he was invincible, that everything was rosy
without knowing, he was digging his own grave
involved in trafficking, even living algae rete
his God has become a Magnum 357 and who would say!!!

was in the city trafficking with kilos
greed was abundant in his heart
because he had a couple of guns, he thought he was James Bond
being the most feared, that was his focus
that everyone respected him in the whole block
but he had a void that those things didn't fill
now he not only sold drugs but also used them

In a dream, Santito receives a warning
he saw himself shot lying on the floor
the next day a couple of partners came to him
they invited him to make money in a good business
not ten minutes had passed since they arrived at the place
Santito, very ignorant of what was going to happen
a shootout started and Santito jumped
he was shot with a forty-five
the issue was an explosive bullet
it tore him apart inside, they took him to intensive care
they told his wife, we can't assure him
look for his mother, we'll bury him tomorrow
but in Puerto Rico, a town of God, they prayed for him
and the one they were going to bury opened his two eyes
then the doctors came to certify
he will live but he will never walk
and then when science gave up on him
the excellent doctor appeared
the one they said would be forever
paralyzed
I have seen him preaching on the streets of Puerto Rico

Now I say as Santito would say
God is a reality and not philosophy (x2)
