Sin Llaves
Manolo Garcia
Without Keys
The life I hope for and will wait for
In the shade in the oasis I invented for myself.
Like the wise man on the peaks of knowledge,
I am seaweed in the sea of calm;
I am the plank of my own salvation.
I love and protect myself from my own voice.
Take me, with my heart I usually speak,
Where a warm sun reigns
In the light of a spike where I can warm
My bare feet,
Or maybe where to walk.
Who doubts does not wait
Calm in the fierce water.
What do I think, if I feel,
Longings of the feeling.
My laughter, my time,
May they grow eager to fall in love.
Take me, with my heart I usually go,
To the place where I was born
To search for seashells at the bottom of the sea
To flood my palate.
I unfold my sails that need to depart,
Now the goldfinch sings next to the rosebush.
The soul rises, wants to fly,
Today it's a hawk in heat.
Oil lamps will have to be lit,
Dutch painters will stain my hands.
On this ancient altar that I raised
To the top of my hours I want to climb,
Like new pollen I want to spread
In total abandonment.
Oil lamps will have to be lit
Without keys, at the doors of the moment I am.
