Laberinto de Sueños (En Las Geometrías del Rayo)
Manolo Garcia
Labyrinth of Dreams (In the Geometries of the Ray)
Geometries of the ray
In my labyrinth of dreams
Every day I resemble myself more
And that doesn't suit me
And that doesn't interest me
You, on the other hand, know how to escape from yourself
And fly over yourself in circles
Seeking high perspective and shores of light
Marine landscapes
Pity me
If I don't recognize myself in my mistakes
Pity me
You knew better
You knew better, skillfully avoiding men
You knew better, because you leave behind heartbreaks
Like the wake of a ship
Empty twilight light, deserted nest
In the geometries of the ray
I am lost
And that doesn't suit me
And that drives me crazy
You, on the other hand, know how to rise calmly
At dusk, seeking verses
In tavern directions
With a wounded drone, with an old guitar
Pity me
That I don't recognize myself in my mistakes
Pity me
You knew better
You knew better, giving everything and having everything
You knew better, leaving heartbreaks behind
Like mud from your shoes
