Vaig Aprendre
Manu Guix
I Learned
And this is how I remember it, there was a kid lost in the desert
And with his way of understanding things, suddenly a universe opened up for me
Maybe it was just a dream from the delirium of thirst
But something inside me stirred when I heard that kid's laughter
And there I learned
That it all depends on me
And that we all have a little prince inside
You just have to want to feel it
And there I learned
That what’s essential is invisible to the eye
And that learning to love and be happy
Is what I want
I don’t know if it was real
When he talked to me about roses and baobabs
Or about foxes that were incredible friends
When they let themselves be tamed
He didn’t answer my questions
And gifted me with an unsettling silence
I started noticing the little things
That are actually the most important
And there I learned
That it all depends on me
And that we all have a little prince inside
You just have to want to feel it
And there I learned
To look at the world differently
And he made that happen
And there I learned to remember
That I was a kid too
It’s what happens to grown-ups
That we often forget
And there I learned
That what’s essential is invisible to the eye
And that learning to love and be happy
Is what I want
And he taught me like no one else
