Otoño, Octubre
Manuel Carrasco
Autumn, October
Autumn October without sun
Impatient hotel in my room
Don't wait, I tell myself, wait for God's sake
Hurry up, it never came
I forget, I look for you and find a goodbye
I hear your steps because I invent them
I thought by believing it could happen
It did happen, that's true, but without happening
And I have your lost steps
The bed is messy from shivering
The moon doesn't shine, it enters the emergency room
The street, the noise, doesn't ease this pain
I keep what's yours and mine
I keep the nights where we loved each other
What I imagined remains in the air
I leave you this attempt, this last time
Silent phone, can you light up
The sad hope of this darkness
Constant alert, you can go now
I want to deceive myself, kiss her and sleep
Tomorrow I'll have to start again
I'll miss you without looking back
Coward or brave, what does it matter now
We weren't lucky, it will be another time
And I have your lost steps
The bed is messy from shivering
The moon doesn't shine, it enters the emergency room
The street, the noise, doesn't ease this pain
I keep what's yours and mine
I keep the nights where we loved each other
What I imagined remains in the air
I leave you this attempt, this last time
And I have your lost steps
