Vagabundo
Manuel Medrano
Wanderer
In a barren place, I thought I’d die of thirst
And a creature glowing with light gave me a drink
Sun tongues, sipping pleasure in gulps
And feeling the mouth of fear
You and I, sand and scorpion
In a sea of fire
Under the kiss of the night
Rolling through the world, I wander, I wander
I ask the Chimera the riddle of fate
A crazy nomad, night owl and dreamer
A wanderer
Sand and light, the scent of youth
Sun tongues, sipping pleasure in gulps
Feeling the mouth of fear
You and I, sand and scorpion
In a sea of fire
Searching for the Chimera
Under the kiss of the night
Sun tongues, oasis of love, poets in Eden
Finally, I find you in this bonfire
I kiss the flames and don’t get burned
Rolling through the world, I wander, I wander
I ask the Chimera the riddle of fate
A crazy nomad, night owl and dreamer
A wanderer
A throne without a king
A wanderer
A temple without a god
A wanderer
