Perros de La Noche
Manuel Ruiz Queco
Night Dogs
In the wee hours looking for my house
Alcohol filled my body
Lost in the city.
I entered a street of strange people
Terror took hold of my mind
And I began to tremble.
My eyes saw the blade gleam
The moon witnessed as my body bled
Night dogs
I don't have anything in my pockets
Don't take that medal from me
It was from my dear mother
And laughing at me
They played with the medal
And dragging me on the ground
Between pain and anger I screamed
Night dogs
I don't have anything in my pockets
Don't take that medal from me
It was from my dear mother
In the darkness shattered on the sidewalk
No soul passes through this street
That could help me.
I remember
When I entered that street
Damn my luck
When I had to go through.
My eyes saw the blade gleam
The moon witnessed as my body bled
Night dogs
I don't have anything in my pockets
Don't take that medal from me
It was from my dear mother
And laughing at me
They played with the medal
And dragging me on the ground
Between pain and anger I screamed
Night dogs
I don't have anything in my pockets
Don't take that medal from me
It was from my dear mother
