Gotas de Sangue

Jesus leaving Gethsemane went to the mountain to pray
And also his disciples followed him
When they reached that place, Jesus said: Pray
So that you may not enter into temptation

That's how God, the father, from heaven heard his cry
And his Spirit, upon the son, manifested
It was then, at that moment, that he remembered us there
Drops of blood for our sins, he sweated

And an angel appeared from heaven to comfort him
In agony, intensely, he prayed more
And his sweat became large drops of blood
From his gentle face blood ran to the ground

And he moved away from his disciples a certain distance
And on his knees, he cried out to the Father, saying
Father, if possible, let this cup pass from me
Nevertheless, not my will be done, but yours be done
