Canción Para Los Días De La Vida
María Gabriela Epumer
Song For The Days Of Life
This day begins to grow
I'll see if I can run
like the morning whistling
my back or watching the bubbles
I have to learn to fly
among so many standing people
gnomes made of tin
take care of my wings
who never laugh at night
If the rain reaches here
I'll just limit myself to live
I'll wet my wings
like the tree or the angel
or maybe die of sorrow
I have plenty of time today
the clocks will make me sing
and the foam heals around my skin
they have put hands to speak
to the things of mine
And finally my elf was born
has white ears
like a breath of bread and rice
a mushroom as a nose
Four crazy hairs
and a violin that never stops
it just comes off
and it's the same as the garlands
and it's because this day is somewhat salty
It left me vibrating at birth
it's heavy and light
like a thread with no name
it sounds a bit like my guitar
I have to learn to fly
among so many people behind
I'll put on the branches of this sun waiting for me
to use me like the air
And finally my elf opened up
has a tablecloth heart
and a baton and a wink to see
that everything is true
Now the gnomes take care of a violin
that always sings, never falls asleep
and it's the same as the garlands
and it never stops
it just comes off
and it's the same as the garlands
