A Diferença

Don't mind if someone is chasing you
Doing something to make you fall
And humiliating you because you serve God
Brother, do not be sad

It's the enemy who is angry with you
Because he can't touch you or defeat you
For he sees the difference in your life
And knows that your victory is guaranteed

The world sees the difference
In the life of the faithful believer
Never surrender to sin
Not afraid of danger
And only worships the God of heaven

Do not be afraid of the furnace
Of the dungeon and prisons
Nor of an enemy army
For the God who is with you
Is the God of champions

Joseph's difference bothered
And his brothers even wanted to kill him
But they decided to sell him to the Midianites
In Egypt he went to live

Without owing anything he was thrown into prison
But the Lord reached out to him
He exalted him by humiliating his enemies
Who serves God is a winner never defeated

I rejoice in Job's story
In the midst of so much pain he never denied God
Also young Daniel who was faithful
Did not surrender and prayed even more

For he trusted that the Holy One of Israel
Would protect him from the fury of evil
He went down into the pit but rose victorious
To prove that our God is powerful
