O Ouro ou o Altar
Marcello Brayner
Gold or the Altar
I come to Your feet to pour out my perfume
My offering is to honor You
If for some what I do is wasteful
For the Lord, it's how I can please You
Greater is the one who receives what I have
Than the crowd that can judge me
Greater is the fire that ignites
That sanctifies all the gold on the Altar
Who is greater?
The creature or the Creator?
Who is greater?
The servant or their Lord?
Who is greater?
The gold or the Altar?
Place of Salvation, to deliver sacrifices
Those who see the gold don't see the Riches
Of the Holy City that Jesus prepared
No eye has seen, no ear has heard
It can't be imagined
Jerusalem, where one day I'll live
Greater is the one who receives what I have
Than the crowd that can judge me
Greater is the fire that ignites
That sanctifies all the gold on the Altar
Who is greater?
The creature or the Creator?
Who is greater?
The servant or their Lord?
Who is greater?
The gold or the Altar?
Place of Salvation, to deliver sacrifices
