Sou Grato ao Senhor

I am grateful Lord, for all the trials
That make me grow in you
By letting Him act
I am grateful Lord
For the trials come to transform
My life brings patience
Learning to love

But it's difficult
To surrender my selfishness and thus let
Your Spirit control who I am
But when the trials come
I quickly want to act
And the voice of God, I stop hearing

I am grateful Lord for the struggles I will live
I can see you protecting me
And steering me away from evil
For you promised, You promised
That in every trial
You would sustain me, with your hand

But, it's difficult
To surrender my selfishness and thus let
Your Spirit control who I am
But when the trials come
I quickly want to act
And the voice of God, I stop hearing

I am grateful Lord, because victory is growing in you
Giving myself entirely to you, life is much better
Oh my Lord, oh my Lord
When everything ends, I will contemplate your face
And dwell with you
