Bajo Los Ojos de Dios
Marco Antonio Solís
Under the Eyes of God
Under the Eyes of God
What things are seen today
there is no longer that control that existed,
the world with its madness
cannot be stopped and it spins.
I don't understand so much violence
why so much indifference from those poor people,
how sad the news is
and how the caresses are missing in the children's homes.
There are people who no longer listen
because their rush to think is too much,
life is hard, it's true
but some dead people suffer more.
I prefer to be under the eyes of God... and so
always walk,
in many gazes lives the soul of God... and there
I want to look.
Money, power, and vices
have turned man into paradise,
at the rhythm of the forbidden
the one who was defeated is dying.
I swim against the current
and although I am not the most decent of all
I work with an open soul
even if I have to knock on every door.
I prefer to be under the eyes of God... and so
always walk,
in many gazes lives the soul of God... and there
I want to look.
I prefer to be under the eyes of God... and so
always walk,
in many gazes lives the soul of God... and there
I want to look.
