Carpenter Preacher
In the beginning, it was just a boy
Working with His father
He was just a Carpenter who preached
About salvation and peace
He walked by the Sea of Galilee
With His loving way of speaking
But that Carpenter Preacher
Started to bother
His hands healed the blind and the lame
And mended hearts
Many poor were well fed
Through the multiplications
The needy came to His feet
Seeking a miracle to obtain
And with that, the enemies rose
And came to harm Him
Suddenly the Carpenter appears
Carrying a cross along the way
He was no longer a Carpenter
He was just a Lamb so alone
On Calvary, He slowly ascended
Shedding warm blood on the ground
With bleeding feet and hands
He was proclaiming salvation
Jesus died like a lamb
Resurrected as a lion
He was a simple Carpenter
Being the Author of creation
He is now the King of the universe
And has fire in His hands
His name is sovereign
Over heaven, earth, and sea
He has authority
Enters any place
His enemies stop to listen
To what He wants to say
