La Bruja y El Duende
Marcos Acuña
The Witch and the Goblin
I found myself in the mountain
Dream of land and charm of magic and color
And between these chords, I found him dancing
To the sugarcane elf who sweetens my voice
And with her handkerchief the song bewitched me
And the zamba that he taught me one day
Under the night together with the stars
The sky danced in song
While a witch his faithful companion
He was shaking in circles looking for his love
But old goblin coming to arrest
In a twist he disappeared
There are some things about the elf that do not conquer his great heart
I know that one day I will find him singing
Taking care of that song that one day gave me
While the witch waited for him
Dancing along to my song
Sweet disillusioned lover
Sadness became the dance
Under the Moon reflects his anguish
He asks the wind to find him again
And in the Salamanca that he carries in his soul
He waits for her just dancing
There are times when I feel him wandering around the mountain
When prayer falls
And in the old zamba that plays on my guitar
The burning mark that my voice carries
She always waits and flies in my song
Passion with storms of love
Oh, what a thing of the elf does not conquer his great heart
I know that one day I will find him singing
Taking care of that song that one day gave me
While the witch waited for him
Dancing along to my song
