Letters
I always received your letters
And they all started with I love you
But for a while now
I know, just wanted to fight
And the letters don't start like that anymore
I know, you told me
That if you stopped
Writing I love you
I could cry
I had already forgotten
I had already left me
And the worst of all this
Is that I was the one to blame
It's part of my life
It's part of my story
And this farewell
I keep in my memory
I don't even receive the letters anymore
Oh, how much I miss them
I'd pay any price
To receive them again
I just know that yesterday morning
I received one
I barely looked out of fear
Thought it wasn't yours
In the envelope I saw your name, the sender
I was very happy
I went out shouting in the street
I fought with myself
I don't even know if this is right
With my heart deserted
I almost fooled myself
Today I'm sure you're mine
Because the whole letter
Just said "I love you"
