The Bramble Bush

I would like to understand why God chose
To speak to Moses
That humble bramble, planted in the desert, having so many flowers
The voice of his presence, the flame of his glory among his leaves burned
And standing in a bush, and standing in a bush he showed himself to the world

Burn me, burn me
Burn me just once

I can't imagine, because God chose me
If I'm not the best
In his eyes we look so much alike
That bramble and I
I wouldn't have believed it, I wouldn't have believed it
That God chose me
If a bush could burn, if a bush could burn, I want to burn too

There are so many sad brambles on the side of the road
Nobody looks anymore
The desert winds blew it and broke it and it is almost dead
But if you are worth little or if you are worth nothing
Heaven did not forget you
And even if you are a bramble, and even if you are a bramble, God is still watching you
