Dime la verdad
Marcos Vidal
Tell me the truth
You're not talking about Him if you say He hasn't listened to you
that He has abandoned you, not taking care of you,
you still don't know Him...
You say He ignores you, doesn't listen when you cry
and you start to doubt if He was ever here,
Who do you think you're talking about? Take stock and then...
Tell me the truth, How long has it been since you sought Him?
Tell me without lying that His company was everything to you,
that He is your owner;
let me know how long it's been since you missed Him
tell me it was yesterday when you last met Him alone,
you're not talking about Him to me.
It's easy for you to take refuge in your bitterness,
blame others and wait for the King to come,
you still don't know Him...
You don't know that He doesn't respond to shouts or demands,
that He is God and you are human and you can't hide
your stories don't impress Him, remember and then...
Tell me the truth, When have you truly sought Him?
Tell me without fear, that your soul yearns day and night for His love,
that He is your owner;
stop running away as if in a nightmare,
return to reason, bend your knee a little and open your heart,
there is still much for you to see
