When He Comes
Will God not bring justice to his chosen ones
who cry out to Him day and night?
Will He delay in answering them?
I tell you, He will not delay in bringing them justice.
But when the Son of Man comes,
will he find faith on earth? - Luke 18:7-8.
Only He stood up in defense of the accused,
offered to serve the sentence in his place,
ignoring the offenses, he gave up his freedom,
but in return, when he returns, what will he find?
He started as a carpenter in a village,
since childhood, his integrity surprised everyone,
his values so strange, his obsession with truth,
the purity in his crystal-clear gaze.
He rejected any crown and lived to sow,
cultivating hearts and teaching forgiveness,
Because a good tree always bears good fruit...
... however, when He comes, what will he find?
Being rich, he became poor and vulnerable,
being God, he became a humble servant,
being King, he became a soldier, cannon fodder,
being free, he became a slave for love.
He shared his friendship and warmth among a thousand hungry,
protected foreigners and never turned them away,
and those who received him, he sealed with his blood,
he promised to return and left.
The details of how and when he will return matter little,
because one way or another, every eye will see him,
the real question still remains unanswered:
When the Son of Man comes, what will he find?
