Volta Por Cima

Bounce Back
I want to always be what I sympathize with,
I always become, sooner or later,
What I sympathize with, be it a stone or a longing,
Be it a flower or an abstract idea,
Be it a crowd or a way of understanding God.
And I sympathize with everything, live everything in everything.
I sympathize with superior men because they are superior,
And I sympathize with inferior men because they are superior too,
Because being inferior is different from being superior,
And so it is a superiority at certain moments of vision.
I sympathize with some men for their character qualities,
And I sympathize with others for their lack of these qualities,
And with others I sympathize just for sympathizing with them,
And there are absolutely organic moments when these are all men.
Yes, how I am king
How I am an absolute king in my sympathy,
It is enough that it exists for it to be justified.
I cried, I didn't try to hide
Everyone saw, pretended
Pity me, it wasn't necessary
Where I cried
Anyone would cry
To bounce back as I did
I want to see who would
A man of morals doesn't stay on the ground
Nor does he want a woman
To come and give him a hand
He recognizes the fall and doesn't get discouraged
He gets up, shakes off the dust
And bounces back
