Corpitcho
Maria Rita
Little Body
I swear I tried to change
To some place far from here
To Quixeramobim, Paraty, Paquetá
Nikiti, Guarujá, Magé, Jericoacoara
But I decided to come back
It didn't help to run away
The world is what changed
Evil has globalized
Things are getting tough
And it's the war of inequalities
Humanity washing its laundry
Opportunity doesn't cross Rebouças
Life around here is pretty crazy
On weekends I become a percussionist
I grab my tambourine
I go to Madureira
To my glorious Império Serrano
That will win and rise this year
To keep this little body nice
I might even become a gym-goer
I run along Copacabana's boardwalk
From Monday to Friday
