Aliados Del Alma
Marilina Ross
Allies of the Soul
Sometimes I think
that they, she, and I
were the soul of a star
that one day blew up.
Lights in flight
sowing the creation
we promised to meet again
near the sun.
And in the darkest nights
I sense their gazes
bringing light and warmth.
They are the friends of the soul
they're the voice I need
to hear myself.
Sometimes I think
that this isn't the first time
that it's been centuries of meeting
wanting to grow.
Related by blood
without sheets or ties
truly free
sharing ourselves.
Through scaffolds of tenderness
over abysses of madness
I'm amazed by their love.
With the allies of the soul
mirrors aren't needed
to see myself.
To see myself
to see
to see, see, see, see, see.
