Letter to Dad
Dad how do I explain to you that I have a blue cup with little birds
Where I planted a sweet potato that later dried up
How do I explain that love waiting for you at the door
To listen to you again until you fall asleep
The never-ending stories
I want to play, go up and down the slide
I want a blue balloon and one more ride
And walk hand in hand with you dad
That happened, and now everything is different and so difficult
I'm afraid to grow up and understand where I am and who I am
I'm going to start by telling you about my life and other things
Although I'm very afraid that afterwards
You'll fall asleep again
