La Flor

The Flower
I wish I could be a half moon
And with a sigh, go back
To be like one of those clouds
That without thinking, takes flight
But I'm nothing more than a flower
And always planted I must stay
Waiting for a good gust of wind
To take me for a walk to another garden
And let it blow very slowly
And thus comb my face
And let it come well loaded
With a little frozen rain
I wish I could be a butterfly
And in a moment yield to the wind
To be like one of those leaves
That fall every autumn
But I'm nothing more than a flower
And I have to see this same sky
Waiting for a good gust of wind
To know other places
And let it blow very slowly
And thus comb my face
And let it come well loaded
With a little frozen rain
And I'm just a flower
And I have to see this same sky
Although sometimes when the sun shines
I like to be of many colors
And I like it when it gets dark
And the night is starry
And I like the little sound
Of the frozen rain (repeat)
