El Eco de Mi Canto

A cross marks me outside
A pain I lock inside my chest
Days, months, centuries without singing
The only two notes I have

On my wooden side
Slowly the bell ringer
Comes and goes and I come and go
To sing my sorrows to the wind

If he pushes me gently and slowly
Perhaps my voice won't reach to fill the sky
