Beauty is so strong,
beauty is so high
that it makes you its slave,
that dazzles to look at it.
So sharp it hurts,
so certain it scares,
so scarce that some
never manage to find it.
It disguises itself in the night,
it undresses in the dawn,
it is drawn in the dream,
it takes refuge in the soul.
It extends in time,
and in time it ends,
no one can have it
although they can buy it.
Beauty is so brief,
beauty is so chaste
that one must tread carefully
to not pluck it.
It is so pure and so sweet
that it stains with nothing.
It is a luxury to feel it
and a crime to kill it.
