Trivial Polonio
Martin Buscaglia
Trivial Polonium
we walked among mirages
respecting the signs
composing madrigals
during tourism week
learning the catechism
that only travels teach
we dodged the tolls
and so the destiny was read:
you will arrive at the corvinos
recharge your voltage
on the porch of an autumn
of incoherent heat
the screws of my mind
I find them in the polonium
as fast as a turtle
paul passes by the path
as always so austere
with his muse absorbed
I watch them high
hanging under the eaves
the sun sets and rises
and always returns when it sets
no one doubts how much it's worth
if it nourishes us all
be it a bug, be it a plant
for him there's nothing new
I just sing to him and try
this tea we prepared
what we found in the field
the sun created it carefully
and I went to the sea looking for rhyme
when this was a sketch
just then beto arrived
and presented the turbine
today the water is divine
the rooster thinks about his weather vane
and I think about your silhouette
and for all we've been through
now your burnt shoulders
rest on the canvas
