The kids around the campfire
Are gonna learn things of dreams and truth
They'll understand how to earn a flag
And they'll know what freedom cost

Words are just words, not just rhymes
Words from this ever-changing time
There the kids learned new things
And they even say the stars belong to the people

Here the men stay up high
With their funny math to add up
They don’t get close to the neighborhoods or the fields
And they're scared of everything that’s popular

But the kids of this new continent
Will know how to make history and teach
