Fogo Sem Fuzil

This year I fly away to the countryside to dance during Saint John's
Party with over a thousand, see
the 'sagoite' shooting grenades
and the young folks in the yard
setting fire without a rifle. (2x)

And the kids play ring games,
corn cake and coffee, always on the table
and the little brown girls, to serve with
joy, when it's the next
day there's definitely 'buchada'.
