DernièRe JournéE En Mer

Last Day At Sea
At this hour Mars gently fades away
Badly awake, I put my foot in the ashtray
I had burned that damn paper
That had been sent to me by registered mail
And over there I will take my boat
One last time put it in the water
Go fishing to not forget
On the sea barely stirred, so many memories in my traps
It's like a truce before they take me away
I'm not here out of derision but at the time of departure
I'm falling behind and I vomit on the deck
And over there on my boat
For the last time together on the water
Gone fishing to forget this time
And tomorrow on this strange dock where we see the bottom
With only my gloom as baggage and a fishhook in my gut
I'm going over there out of pure derision
To serve the games of unreason
And behind me I leave my boat
For the last time alone at the water's edge
Yes but sometimes everything stops
And this morning I take the first train
