Jesus É o Rei

Jesus is the King, my Lord I know
My life I have surrendered to Him
I live only for Him, I serve only Him
He lives, He reigns, He is King
When I praise, I feel His strong arm
He holds me and gives me power
His blood is strong, He has already conquered death
When I cry out, He comes to help me

Today I am washed and redeemed
I live so happily like this!
All my sin was washed by the crimson blood

I have freedom, I live always joyful
I was set free by great love
That came down from glory, went up on the cross
When from above He expired
He filled me with joy, I cannot repay Him
It was too much what He suffered on the cross
Out of love for man, He died on Calvary
All this my Jesus did

What happiness I have in Jesus Christ
He gave me everything He promised
He freed me from snares and established my steps
I am forever His, He is mine
When I see His face in glory
I will sing with so much emotion
See the pierced hands where the nails entered
All to cleanse my heart
