Jesus É a Minha Paz

I was lost, but Jesus set me free
He gave me grace, filled me with His love
Now I have freedom to sing
I praise His Name, I can't stop

I overcome everything in His name
I even overcome the tempter
Jesus Christ assures me
I trust in the Lord
There is nothing in this world
That can destroy me
Jesus is the one who guards me
Yes, He guards me until the end

Now I live so happily
I sing more to Jesus
Now I say I am happy
Jesus is my peace

Many suffer for not knowing God
Defeated, they live in illusion
They may seem to smile
But they don't feel the pleasure I feel here

There is no reason to live without Jesus in the heart
There is no joy, only Jesus gives us forgiveness
All my iniquity He already bore on Calvary
He is the Son of God, only Jesus Christ is the Lord
