Pedido a Deus

I asked God to give me a new life
I asked God to give me a living
I asked God for a light, a way out
I asked God to change my being
I asked God to change my destiny
I asked God to give me sanctity
I asked God to find a path
That would lead me to a true heaven

And this God who speaks now is a God of deliverance
And a God who is here and took away my suffering
And a God who can do everything is a God full of love
And a God who gave me victory, made me a winner

I asked God to give me a family
Wife and children with great wisdom
I asked God to lead me to the altar
I want to worship my God every day
I asked God to show me a horizon
A universe full of lightning and light
I asked God to bring us back
Our king, our master, my Jesus

And this God who speaks now is a God of deliverance
